At The Gifting House, we take pride in preparing and delivering each gift with care, whether it’s picked up locally or shipped across Canada. Our goal is to ensure your order arrives safely, beautifully packaged, and on time.
All orders are handmade, customized, and require a standard processing time of 24–48 hours. During busy seasons (such as Christmas), weekends, or holidays, preparation times may be slightly longer, but we will always communicate expected timelines. Custom or bulk orders may also require additional time depending on size and design.
Local pickup is available from our Spryfield, Halifax location at no extra cost. Once your order is ready, we will contact you directly to schedule a convenient pickup time.
For customers within Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, Sackville, and surrounding areas, we offer local delivery for a small fee based on distance and time of day. Most local deliveries are completed the same day or next day once the basket is prepared, and you will receive a message confirming the delivery window.
We also offer shipping across Canada for select travel-friendly gift boxes. These boxes are specially packed to ensure safe transit of delicate items. Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, size, and destination, and will be shared with you before checkout or payment. Orders are shipped through Canada Post or trusted courier partners, and delivery typically takes 3–10 business days, depending on your province. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation and tracking number so you can follow your package until it arrives.
Certain fragile, oversized, or highly customized baskets may not be eligible for nationwide shipping due to their structure, but we will always help you choose a safe alternative. If you are traveling, we can also prepare secure, luggage-friendly boxes that fit easily into suitcases for domestic or international travel.
Please ensure that all shipping or delivery addresses provided are complete and accurate. If a delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, a re-delivery fee may apply. For corporate or bulk orders, we offer group delivery options, scheduled drop-offs, and custom arrangements upon request.
If your order arrives damaged, delayed, or missing items, please contact us within 24 hours with photos so we can resolve the issue quickly. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we will always work with you to make things right.
