1. General Use
By accessing this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are using the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian. You agree not to misuse the website, copy our content, or interfere with our services.

2. Product Information & Customization
Each gift basket or box is handmade and may include slight variations in colours, styles, or product availability. If an item becomes unavailable, we may replace it with an equal or higher-value alternative without prior notice, while keeping the overall theme and quality intact.

3. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Payment must be completed in full before an order is processed. We accept e-transfer and other approved payment methods. Online payments are handled securely through third-party payment processors. We reserve the right to update prices at any time.

4. Order Processing & Fulfillment
Standard order processing time is 24–48 hours unless stated otherwise. During peak seasons or for custom orders, preparation time may be longer. You will be notified once your order is ready for pickup, delivery, or shipping.

5. Delivery & Shipping
We offer local delivery within Halifax and surrounding areas, as well as shipping across Canada for select items. Delivery or shipping delays caused by weather, courier issues, or incorrect addresses are not the responsibility of The Gifting House. Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Due to the personalized and perishable nature of our gift baskets, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the order has been confirmed. If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 24 hours with photos for review, and we will work on a suitable resolution.

7. Cancellations
Cancellations are only accepted if the order has not yet been prepared. Once items have been purchased or the basket has been assembled, cancellations are not possible.

8. Personal Data & Privacy
Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to the collection and use of your data for order processing and communication.

9. Intellectual Property
All photos, designs, product descriptions, logos, and branding are the property of The Gifting House. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability
The Gifting House is not responsible for any damages, losses, or delays caused by third-party couriers, misuse of products, or incorrect information provided by customers. Our liability is limited to the value of the order paid.

11. Policy Updates
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect as soon as they are posted on this page.
